Luke Perkins joined the firm as an Associate Attorney and focuses his practice on family law and domestic relations matters. He brings a steady, strategic approach to cases involving divorce, custody, and other sensitive family issues.
Prior to joining the BDLG, Luke began his career at a prominent family law and criminal defense firm in Columbus, Ohio, following his time in law school spent with the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office. With this background, Luke developed strong courtroom experience and a deep understanding of trial litigation strategy. This allows him to anticipate issues, evaluate risk, and advocate effectively for his clients in contested matters.
Luke is committed to guiding clients through challenging transitions with clarity, professionalism, and care. He values clear communication, thoughtful counsel, and practical solutions tailored to each client’s goals and circumstances.
Luke earned his Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Northern University while playing college football, and his Juris Doctor from the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law, where he was the leader of the Moot Court trial advocacy team. These experiences reflect the competitive drive and dependability that Luke brings to his clients’ cases.
Outside of his practice, Luke and his wife, Abby, reside in Powell, Ohio with their two Bernedoodles. They enjoy exploring new places, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Buckeyes and the Browns.
